The villain is like 24/0 over 60 or so hands and seemed like a huge fish to me. Did I missplay this hand?? I believe a lot of NL2 villains overplay hands like AK,AQ,AJ, not to mention KK, QQ in these spots... I raised on the flop both for value and protection. I think fold would be too weak here.

      Hello AjoPP1,

Of course it seems somewhat interesting that he picks such a line, although only few hands what beats us there. Since we have the top2 it makes him unlikely to have TT there and I don't really think that he even limps Aces there, somewhat sure that he still raises them. So only combos are 77s which beat us. Therefore I guess I'd also get it in on flop since they might easily do the shove as well there with any kind of Aces. Maybe even has himself as well 2 weaker pairs.

      Best regards.

Thank you very much veriz, I was thinking about this a bit more and realized that the guy was really passive, so I think such a guy wouldn't 3 bet shove with just TPTK although we never know. This play would probably be great against an agressive villain, but being more careful against passive players can't hurt. But I really don't like just calling on the flop anyway :D
