      Calling for set, obviously.

Spewing starts here! :) From time to time I tend to donk my small pair on dry boards - usually paired ones. Maybe this one is not that great because of possible FD.

My plan here is - if he calls, I am done with this hand. Seems, though, he takes the pot away from me on the river.

Set mining here is ok but you can also just fold this pre-flop given that Villain is a half stack and you will be OOP.

When you call here you should be doing it either (a) because you think you have implied odds, or (b) because you think you will have fold equity. It's a bit inconsitent to try to set mine if you think he will fold to a half pot donk bet!

Donking half pot on this board doesn't make much sense to me against a guy who folds to donk bets less than 50%. I'd rather c/f when I miss the set or occassionally c/r if you are trying to represent a set. Trying to rep a set on this board would be bad as you'd be repping a really narrow range.

      Hello dienaszaglis,

I guess I'd just Check/Fold on flop while he doesn't fold that often anyways to donk bets. But of course your line is considerable if you think that he is capable of folding there.

      Best regards.
