Hopefuly this will be the last blog i start here for a while and hopefuly i can keep interested in it for more than 2 pages.

Ive played pretty much every type of NLHE, 9max BSS and SSS, 6max 9man sng's 6 man sng's HUsng's.

Non have held my interest long enough to push myself at them except HU but i dont have the BR or the edge (yet) to beat the players and the rake together.

Anyway i've tried my hand at MSS and for now it seems to have re-ignighted my passion for the game obv nothing to do with the skill involved..... Maybe its just cos its a new concept to me, maybe its because i remember how tilt inducing hit and runners were to me and i like to imagine people getting angry at their computer screens when i do it to them.

I believe ive depeloped alot as a person and a player over the last ~6months, i dont (knowingly) tilt bad beats dont bother me i accept they happen, put it behind me and move on instantly.

Im not driven by money goals anymore: I dont care about the money i care about being the best. At the minute im trying to stop checking cashier all the time its not because of money its cos im desperate to move up stakes and improve but i need to get it into my head that it will come with time.

My graph since getting HEM in $$

Doesnt show bonuses but i had horrible time as soon i took shots at NL10 SH lost 2 buy-ins there moved back to NL5 SH where i was crushing before these shots and seemed to have been doomswitched :s_cool:
same graph looks lots better in BB:

Went back to 24 tabling NL2 FR eventualy and seem to be on the way back up it bored me though and i hadnt played for a while when i saw MSS was released so ive started playing that, started with 4 tables but ive moved up to about 18-20 now. about 10k hands in 2 days was about 15 BI's up but just hit a 8BI downswing in about 1k hands. Overall think ive been getting my money in good.

Things like this happening all night long,

      PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (9 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

      MP2 ($12.52)
      MP3 ($1.88)
      CO ($5.35)
      Button ($7.59)
      SB ($12.38)
      Hero (BB) ($2)
      UTG ($7.14)
      UTG+1 ($4.66)
      MP1 ($1.97)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K, K
5 folds, CO bets $0.20, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.60, CO calls $0.40

      Flop: ($1.22) 3, 5, 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.65, CO calls $0.65

      Turn: ($2.52) 8 (2 players)
      Hero bets $0.75 (All-In), CO calls $0.75

      River: ($4.02) J (2 players, 1 all-in)

      Total pot: $4.02 | Rake: $0.19

Is it important to post many hands on MSS what kinda hands should i look for? i mean decisions are dramaticaly reduced only playing the top hands i cant make that many mistakes right? surely its raise or fold, then c/f b/f or b/r on the flop or am i being too naive?

      Some Goals:

 Keep getting the money in good and get out of this downswing

 Reach gold status here by the end of the month should be easy enough at this rate, and read the next MSS articles

 Be at least taking shots at NL10 MSS before the end of march/start of april - Done

 Battle my way through NL10, 25 50 and maybe 100 MSS however long it takes before....

 switching back to BSS SH probably the limit below whichever im rolled for to learn the game properly.

Anyone wanna leave some feedback/thread savers or toll me all welcome

      Cheers

im not sure what problem you are experiencing. Have you checked your seating preferences in HUD setup?

yeah i checked the seating prefrences thats alright its just ingame when the HUD pops up im always 2 or 3 seats out but its not in proportion with the rest of the table my stats could be 2 seats to the right and the guy sat to my lefts stats could be 4 or 5 seats round from his actual seat :f_confused:

just under 1k hands played today taking a break cos my wonderful fiance has cooked for me and that doesnt happen too often :f_biggrin: down 3BIs couple of coolers and a suckout but what can you do eh il just carry on playing my best and hope to win them back later.

Oh yeah a question for any other MSS players how do you set your auto rebuy thing? mines just set to if i fall under what i sat down with but the strategy says if you fall under 30bbs to rebuy does it make a huge difference if u rebuy straight away or should i wait to im down to 30bbs?

Il add new goal as well to reach gold on Pokerstrategy

      Cheers for any answers

The guy who won this hand was playing at around 70/3 and i saw him play for stacks a couple of times with bottom/middle pair thats why i was more than happy to get it in against him the other guy in the hand wasnt much better either

I thought QJ or PP would have raised for the blinds so wasnt THAT worried about those hands i thought draw or maybe fish limping Q8/7 smth similar who couldnt let go on the flop.

I could go on and on with hands like this but i wont for now 30 mins break then back to the tables i still think im playing A game just variance coming out to play.

Possibly the worst day ive had results (BI) wise i couldnt quit because i wasnt tilting i was either getting it in good and getting arse fucked on the board or my kings were going into As or AKs not catching vs QQ/JJ or flop full house then river gives them better one you know how it goes i guess just one of them days

Pretty happy with my volume tho hopefuly can keep it around this number most sessions

This is where im getting married pretty cool looking place quite beautiful as far as churches go:

Stag weekend is hopefuly gonna go a bit like this:

Firstly some of this probably with some bets,

Then some of this probably not for bets just for pure pride and humiliation of whoever gets pounded,

      Followed by plenty of,

Day 2 to go something like this:

To the casino for my first taste of live poker action which ever way results go afterwards we will need lots of,

And ofc on a stag do it would be rude if we didnt see some of this,

Could really do with another activity before the poker on 2nd day but dunno what just yet or where its gonna be i was thinking maybe dublin, it looks great but ive heard its pretty expensive round them parts any info on that would be great thanks

dropping the number of tables could be the answer woke up this morning and had the urge to start playing played a 1k session dropped a couple of stacks after 100 hands but stuck at it and ended 5 BIs up.

Playing less tables is already making me improve its alot easier to put people on certain ranges and pay more attention to how they are playing and making notes all making it easier to play post flop against people who before would have just pushed me off 95% of my hands post flop. Good times

Does anybody run as bad as me? I dont think many people are that interested in what im writing but its good to get it out anyway makes me think

This doesnt include the 2 buy-ins that i insta closed the tables so HEM didnt reg.

Its not a lot down but added up with the rest recently it is. only thing is it feels like everytime i play im playing better and more knowledgeable but its not paying off v.soon im gonna have to move to NL2 which is worst nightmare atm i feel like im improving so much but variance jumps out from round a corner kicks me in the balls and runs off laughing everytime leaving me on the floor squirming in the fetal position

since my last bitching sesh its gone pretty well after my last post i had 2 days break from poker then hit the tables again, hard.

Sticking with MSS still i grinded back the $30 i was down and in the process unlocked $40 worth of bonus moniez. then ran hot last night leaving me with a bankroll to start taking shots at NL10. ive been averaging 5k hands a day this week which is a huge amount for me ive played 1.5k hands of NL10 so far and up 4 BI's so nice start aiming for around another 2k hands tonight at least. funny how winning suddenly brings the fun back in to poker eh :f_cool:

Ive made 3 blogs, each one ive started while ive been playing well, as soon as i start posting massive downswings/tilt/idiocy and no BR left hopefuly this wont go the same way.

Birthday tomorrow nothing planned just yet hopefuly will be a big weekend though, bring it on.

oh yeh another thing i was gonna ask all you fellow MSSers (if any of you are reading :s_cool: ) My red line (nonSD) is looking pretty shitty are any other MSS players having this problem? And if so what are you doing to bring the line back up, or at least stay level

No more MSS for me overall i played about 50k hands at NL5 NL10 then NL5 again to end up breakeven i wasnt enjoying it and havent played it for a while i went back (again) to HUSNGs $2s/5s showing small profit but again not enjoying it enough to stick at it i want to get back to BSS 6max eventually/hopefully within a few months i just feel weak playing that game though after the massive downer i had at the end of last year/start of this.

On a brighter note i've been playing some donkaments while ive been playing HUSNG's the last 3/4 weeks and been playing ok reached the money in the sunday quarter mil 2 weeks ago with a decent stack size too about 2.5x the average and then fell asleep and blinded out lol.

My HEM results for tourneys arent showing properly just says i lose every time but i think i must have cashed in about 60-65% in the last 2 weeks probably heater, yesterday final tabled a $10k guarentee finished 6th for $432 shame with first being 2k and my JJ losing to A5 AIPF with 3 shorstacks left could have made some real monies but still im impressed with my biggest cash so far.

Im gonna keep playing donkaments now and again up to the $5.50s and the odd one or 2 $11s but the main target now is NL10 FR while i learn to stop tilting i know i said earlier ITT that i think im pretty resistant to tilt but i was learning more and more everyday that i wasnt while i was playing MSS so im gonna work on my mind set a lot before moving to SH and crushing ofc and i think FR tables will get me back into cash games nicely wish me luck
