Was this a good play or not? and is it acceptable to raise the turn, to check on the river, but still get the pot to a size you want?

Hand converted with online hand converter:

      Known players:
      BU (Hero):

6 folds, Hero raises to $0.15, SB folds, BB calls $0.10.

BB bets $0.05, Hero raises to $0.25, BB calls $0.20.

      Turn: ($0.82) T (2 players)
BB bets $0.05, Hero raises to $0.40, BB calls $0.35.

      River: ($1.62) 3 (2 players)
      BB checks, Hero checks.

      Final Pot: $1.62.

      Hello lynius,

With having the mid-pair on turn I guess I am more often inclined to just Call unless I have some kind of read on the opponent that he is doing such small donks with draws. Otherwise I guess rather Check behind on river, not much you can do there and not much value either. And even if you want to raise the turn then I'd do it like $0,70.

      Best regards.
