      probably I should have called, I had odd + implied odds, but the player were fishy, so dunno...

      Hello Saruniks,

      I guess I might even prefer just taking the Call there and take the odds which he is giving, we would be just in ugly shape when he 3bets us. Although this small bet could mean that he is having a weak hand but why not just to Call it and play on further streets against him, we will still win the hand if he even does have a weak hand.

      But if I were the opponent then first of all I'd raise 4xBB preflop and as well do a bigger CBet, those kind of small bets could easily induce opponents to raise and so on. And if I would face the raise there with such a play then we did accomplish what he wanted and likely go broke. Mostly it's their idea with the small raises and bets to induce raises and that's what they are planning and what I wouldn't recommend doing.
