      Should I raise on the flop to see where I stand?

      Preflop: Sometimes it's even problematic to 3bet against somewhat tighter guy but it's definitely doable, although sometimes I even just Call against nits.
      Postflop: Yes, as we decided to play more aggressively then I'd just raise it right on flop to protect from any overcards or maybe even a draw. Otherwise I guess I'd make the crying fold on turn, I just can't see him 2nd barreling there that often with a lot worse hands. Otherwise fold river, even if you getting that good odds. Could easily be that it's his style not to bet that big even with made hands. So therefore unless you have some kind of read on him I don't like your play.
