Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

      Known players:
      MP2:
      $2.23
      MP3:
      $2.67
      CO:
      $2.00
      BU (Hero):
      $1.77
      SB:
      $2.21
      BB:
      $3.31
      UTG1:
      $3.87
      UTG2:
      $2.00
      MP1:
      $2.67

Preflop: Hero is BU with J, Q.
      2 folds, MP1 raises to $0.04, MP2 folds, MP3 calls $0.04, CO calls $0.04, Hero calls $0.04, SB folds, BB calls $0.02.

      Flop: ($0.21) 8, J, 5 (5 players)
BB checks, MP1 bets $0.20, MP3 folds, CO folds, Hero raises to $0.50, BB folds, MP1 raises to $2.63, Hero folds, MP1 gets uncalled bet back.

      Final Pot: $0.71.

I think it is an easy fold after his all-in. But what about my raise on the flop? It seems risky: There aren't many hands that I beat (TT, 99, maybe also JTs), there are some more beating me (AJ, 88, QQ+). Also he plays sandwiched against four opponents so he is less likely to bluff.

Should I have called instead? Or even fold?

      Thank you in advance!

      Hello jockel80,

For just that reason I don't like raising in those spots, rather just Call it and reevaluate on further streets. With raise you are turning your hand into bluff while we still have showdown value, we kinda have to fold when he 3bets us.

      Best regards.
