[NL2-NL10] NL10 SH What to do after ch/r on the river?

The guy just joined the table and posted BB out of BB position, which IMO already tells something about him. I decided to pick up the dead money from the BU with a marginal hand, but he called. After my continuation bet on the flop and turn with TP and his check on the river, I bet small for value (all draws were busted), but then he raised AI. I called because his ch/r didn't make sense to me and was thinking that my small bet induced his bluff 3b AI. What do you think? Should I check back the turn and river? Should I fold on the river after his 3b, as played?

      Hello Alleen86,

Since the opponent unknown to me I am more often inclined to fold the river vs such a line. And betting the river is as well kinda close, sometimes I even prefer Checking behind and not taking the thin value.

      Best regards.
