      i check turn to not scare him off the hand, and to let him bluff me.
      now, on river, he bets almost pot size. is it ok to call?

      If villain is aggressive post flop why give him opportunity to show aggression? After your check on turn, he sees opportunity and will bet at you. I'm more inclined to bet here.

      Hello vmarqui,

      Against a maniac rather 2nd barrel there for free showdown and maybe even Check/Call the river depending on bet. But as played I guess I am making the crying fold, it screams like he has a better hand while we take a look at his bet sizing, small bet on turn and then very big one on river. Which could easily indicate to a strong hand unless you have some other reads on him.
