Villain was 26/6 over a small sample. The way he played the hand indicated a set of 2s or 4s, i think it's highly unlikely he would have done it with Jx. Can I ever call here without a specific read??

      Hello AjoPP1,

With 26/6 you can't really say how he does play postflop. AF/Raise CBet and such things may tell you how he does play postflop. Although often times being in such a multiway pot and not that drawy board he will usually have a very strong hand there. And I even like the Bet/Fold being in such a multiway pot and don't know the opponent.

      Best regards.

The sample was too small, around 30 hands, so I didn't eevn think about checking those stats, I just gave him credit for a set. I had no backdoor equity so I didn't want to invest more money in this spot. We can't shove either, he's like never calling with worse here.
