      I would take the same line but bet smaller on the river like 3-4 to leave him the option of bluff raising our weak looking block bet and we also get called by some mediocre value hands in his range.

      I think c/rai river is a little better option, since he would not check back this board on overpairs or Jx and by leading you give him option to 3-barrel with missed draws or air and worse hands than 99 he would likely also fold anyway to your river lead, since it seems strong rather than missed draw
