      I would 3bet to 10-11 or directly shove the flop as he can have tons of draws in his range(pair +fd,sd., fd+pair, overcards, sd +overcards, pair) + some worse overpairs.

      As played I would bet 8 on the turn as I mostly see him having a draw here

      He likely has there draw or air if he checks turn, so I´d b/c turn to 7$ and call shove.
      If villain is unknown then I´d b/c flop and then evaluate on the turn. You should bet turn, to take down big pot and also to protect your hand against pair+draw type hands
      Agree that you have to fold river.
