[NL2-NL10] NL 5 - value betting TPTK and a raise on the river

With top pair top kicker I value bet on 3 streets. Usually if a random player at NL 5 shows aggression, I'm very reluctant to continue playing a marginal hand. Any weaker hand I would have folded in that spot, but TPTK is kind of a boarder line case.

Hand converted with online hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.02/$0.05 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

      Known players:
      SB (Hero):

Preflop: Hero is SB with K, A.
3 folds, BU calls $0.05, Hero raises to $0.22, BB folds, BU calls $0.17.

      Flop: ($0.49) A, 4, 3 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.26, BU calls $0.26.

      Turn: ($1.01) 6 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.60, BU calls $0.60.

      River: ($2.21) J (2 players)
Hero bets $1.10, BU raises to $10.63(All-In), Hero calls $2.82.

      Final Pot: $16.76.

      Results follow:

Hero shows a pair of aces(Kc Ah).
      BU shows a straight, seven high(5s 7c).

BU wins with a straight, seven high(5s 7c).

      Hello StaringAtGoats,

You may even bet the flop bigger like at least $0,30. And otherwise I am rather Bet/Folding the river, we just don't beat anything with he is shoving. I don't expect him to do that there with weaker Ax.

      Best regards.
