Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (5 handed)

      Known players:
      CO (Hero):

Preflop: Hero is CO with J, J.
MP3 folds, Hero raises to $0.08, BU folds, SB calls $0.07, BB calls $0.06.

      Flop: ($0.24) 4, 9, 5 (3 players)
SB bets $0.20, BB folds, Hero calls $0.20.

      Turn: ($0.64) Q (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.40, SB calls $0.40.

      River: ($1.44) 9 (2 players)
SB bets $1.00, Hero calls $1.00.

      Final Pot: $3.44.

      Results follow:

Hero shows two pairs, jacks and nines(Jc Jh).
SB shows three of a kind, nines(9d 8d).

SB wins with three of a kind, nines(9d 8d).

I guess I should have folded on the river because the cards that make sense are 9x or maybe other trips. On the other hand it might also be a good spot to bluff a second time (pretending 9x).

      Hello jockel80,

You will be beaten very often on river while you picked such a line. Often times we are betting for free showdown on turn but if we get donked like that then usually are beat. Therefore I'd fold it on river.

      Best regards.
