I like raising flop in such situations. You can take the pot right away and if he calls you have good equity in the hand and can reevaluate on the turn.
Overwise i think the hand isn't played badly, just trying to give more thoughs

+1. I prefer to raise the flop here. Also means you can either get a free card on the turn since he's unlikely to donk you with such standard stats.

If he 3-bets your raise, you can just get it in since you have great equity against all 1-pair hands, and he will find it very difficult to call with AQ/KK/AA.

As played river fold is standard. He can 3-barrel an overpair here hoping to get paid by Qx.

      Hello deivid2,

With such a hand you can easily just raise it up on flop, you have against any pairs very good equity and of course you have right here a lot of fold equity. Otherwise not much you can do than fold it on river, we are likely beat here.

      Best regards.

You just sometimes have to play as well draws aggressively if you want to play such hands profitable. Can't just call and hope to hit, you just wont play this way profitable, that's the point. And hitting that big is the best way to earn money, although I am not saying that this play is wrong which you Called and even went for passive play if you considered him going to 3bet on flop.

tho if you play this kind of hand against this kind of opponent, you have to be very careful not to overplay your top pair type of hands

i can play fast oop but ip i thinks often i can play slowy beocuse i have position and can't steal pot if he is weak turn or river, but i know what do you mind and of course vs agressiv player i sometimes like rasie/getin here.
