Is it good option to check behind the flop with 2nd pair here? Eaven though he has small percentage of FtoCB, I think he would fold many times on my CB, but I could get some value on later streets.

What do you think? Is he too passive for such play?

      His stats: 49/2/33/1,2/58 (VPIP/PFR/FtoCB/AF/Hands)

Hand converted with online hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.05/$0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

      Known players:
      BU (Hero):

Preflop: Hero is BU with A, J.
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.40, SB folds, BB calls $0.30.

      Flop: ($0.85) 5, K, J (2 players)
      BB checks, Hero checks.

      Turn: ($0.85) 2 (2 players)
BB bets $0.81, Hero calls $0.81.

      River: ($2.47) 3 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.00, BB folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back.

      Final Pot: $2.47.

      Hello Alleen86,

Yeah, it's definitely good to Check behind on flop with such a hand, he will anyways have hard time Calling with worse while he still could try to bluff on further streets. But I don't get from what are you trying to get value on river, rather just Check behind, he wont have many worse hands anyways in his range.

      Best regards.
