      $0.25/$0.5 No-Limit Hold'em (5 handed)

      Known players:
      BU (Hero):

Preflop: Hero is BU with 8, 8.
2 folds, Hero raises to $1.50, SB calls $1.25, BB calls $1.00.

      Flop: ($4.5) J, 9, 8 (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets $1.50, Hero raises to $9.00, SB folds, BB calls $7.50.

      Turn: ($22.5) 4 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $39.50(All-In), BB calls $39.50.

      Villain's stats:

Q: What do you think about this situation?
I personally like it, because villain is very call happy and if we bet smthg like 2/3 pot on the Turn,
then on the River we might not know what to do exactly and also stack sizes would be pretty weird and uncomfortable.

My preferred Villain's calling range would consists of all sets,TP+draws, TP good/mid kicker, 2pair.

And I crush that range on the T, but n the River it could be a painful guessing game.

      Q: Well, your thoughts?

Plus, I would like to mention that, when Villain bets small Flop and calls a raise,
he is likely to have some kind of a draw. (in my experience)

I would prefer balance my raise size smaller on the flop to 6$ to give him option to go over top with worse hands and draws, but if you think he would also call 9$ raise and overbet on the turn with worse hands then this play is also fine.

      Hello Anger86,

Against that kind of villain no way I am going to raise it smaller on flop, definitely do like your raise size. And as well shipping even on turn is totally fine against him too.

      Best regards.
