I didn't have stats available for villain in HUD because I haven't learned to use the HUD, but here are the stats as per the HEM hand replayer: 57/34/0/0/0.0/2.2/-/33/24

In the first hand I followed Basic preflop strategy with 88 on the button: I called as there were no raises. The flop had overcards to me but I had position and everyone checked around, so I figured I had the strongest hand and bet the pot, partly for value and partly for protection (there were two hearts on the board). All except villain folded; he called. On the turn I made my set and decided to combine value betting with protection because I was concerned about villain drawing for a flush. I'm afraid that my 30-cent bet on an 18-cent pot might have been too big and that I could have extracted more money from villain with a smaller bet.

In the second hand I had junk but was on BB and just checked as I had already paid the blind. The pot gave me a gutshot. Since I had horrible position I checked and everyone else checked behind me. On the turn my gutshot came in and I had what looked like the nuts--except for the flush draw. Remembering my earlier mistake with overbetting, I only pot bet, and villain called. On the river my worst fears were realized and the third flush card came in. Villain bet. I put him on the flush but there was no way I could see to avoid calling. It turned out he was bluffing and I won the hand.

I am asking for any and all comments from a hand judge and/or anyone else.

      Hello belayd,

And welcome to NL BSS section! Hopefully we will see more hands from you in the future, so we will be able to help you fix your leaks and as well help move up the limits. Will be waiting for the next hands and till that good luck on tables!

And as well please next time try fixing your post, kinda hard to read. Try Checking for example Preview, it's just horrible to read. Can't even find the cards from all the mess.

And as well please don't post multiple hands into one thread, rather pick one hand per thread so we can write better evaluations and concentrate only one hand. Thanks!

      Hand #1
Raise it up with 88 preflop from BU. And otherwise don't overbet the turn, rather make it near pot.

      Hand #2
Just bet yourself for value on river.

      Best regards.

Thanks to the judge for his/her prompt reply and valuable input.

What hand converter should I use to post PartyPoker hands? I got confused among all of the hand converters that are available. And which conversion format should I use?

I'll fix the original post once I get some input.

HEM has a feature, which only needs to press the button.

Go for example to Session -> Select your hand (double click) -> Hand replayer should be open by now -> Then Above is there a button called Hand History (Press it) -> Then should be another pop-up opened and where you can press 2+2 (This will copy the hand history in normal format and you can just go to the forum and paste it).

Volaa. :) Meanwhile good luck on tables.

Thanks! Here is a fixed hand history for the J9 BB hand:

      Hero shows J:diamond: 9:spade:
      (Pre 26%, Flop 31.2%, Turn 96.6%)

      UTG shows A:club: 9:club:
      (Pre 74%, Flop 68.8%, Turn 3.4%)

      Hero wins $0.62

Question: If I think that villain has a flush, how can I bet for value?

Re. the other hand, I see that I should have raised because everyone folded before me, but I misread the table. That will happen in the first little while. Here's the hand anyway so it's easier to read:

      Grabbed by Holdem Manager
      NL Holdem $0.02(BB) Replayer
      SB ($1.51)
      BB ($2.83)
      UTG ($0.55)
      UTG+1 ($1.53)
      UTG+2 ($2.22)
      CO ($2.50)
      Hero ($2)

      Dealt to Hero 8:diamond: 8:spade:

fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls $0.02, SB calls $0.01, BB checks

      FLOP ($0.06) 3:club: A:heart: 5:spade:

SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $0.06, SB calls $0.06, BB folds

      TURN ($0.18) 3:club: A:heart: 5:spade: 8:heart:

SB checks, Hero bets $0.30, SB folds

      Hero shows 8:diamond: 8:spade:

      Hero wins $0.18

Please open a new thread and post them into there and keep the rule about 1 hand per thread. :)
