      I've been playing cash games to support my SnG habit, so tonight I played one 1.00 + $.20 9-player, one 1.00 + $.20 27-Player and one 1.00 + $.10 90 player on full tilt.

I usually go deep on the 90, but have yet to cash, and I get ITM occasionally on the 27, and about 30% ITM on the 9s.

Well, tonight I was 1st in the 27, and on the way, laid this on some poor guy.

To be fair, my read was way off. He had just lost about 3/4 of his stack a hand or so before. He opened big, cbet big, and folded to a shove.

He came right back and opened big again, so I figured I'd take him on, oop and all. He was short stack, and could be taking a poke with almost anything, Besides, the blinds were getting up there, my own M is only 8, and I figured he'd fold again. NOT!

      Here is the hand:

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, 1.2 Tournament, 120/240 Blinds (5 handed) - Full Tilt Converter Tool from

      Hero (SB) (t3170)
      BB (t6500)
      UTG (t1915)
      MP (t4450)
      Button (t4100)

      Hero's M: 8.81

Preflop: Hero is SB with 10, A
      UTG bets t840, 2 folds, Hero raises to t3170 (All-In), 1 fold, UTG calls t1075 (All-In)

      Flop: (t4070) 6, 3, 8 (2 players, 2 all-in)

      Turn: (t4070) 7 (2 players, 2 all-in)

      River: (t4070) 9 (2 players, 2 all-in)

      Total pot: t4070

Hero had 10, A (straight, ten high).
UTG had Q, Q (one pair, Queens).
      Outcome: Hero won t4070

This put me in 2nd out of 15 or so, and took me to the final table, were I took a couple of pots, then waited till a few cripples blinded out. The 3-way battle went back and forth, and the HU was a bit of a marathon, neither of us really willing to shove much.

But if it wasn't for that SICK suckout, I'd have been back to cash games to get my buy-ins back,

      This is not threadworthy.

A10s is good enough to shove that late in a tourney, Hadly a suckout if I had those Q's I would just meh and take my third position, i mean you have to think your getting called by A high and you know if an ace comes your out so hardly newsworthy.

Fair enough if an A had come out.
However a runner-runner inside straight was totally unexpected.
