First of all, I 'd like to apologize for any language mistakes which I'll make here. I'm from Poland and my english isn't good enough to write without mistakes. So sorry for that and please correct my mistakes which helps me to improve my language.
So... I'm Bart, as I mentioned higher I'm from Poland. I'm 26. I've been playing teksas holdem for real money since feb 2010. Before I'd been playing for virual money for 1 year maybe a little more . After I'd made from 1000 chips 35000000 chips I decided to play for real money.
In fab my friend sent me 34$ to my acount and I started playing. By then I've had two very big tilts. First time when I was on tilt I didn't know about that tilt exists. In this time I made a lot of mistakes with my bankroll management. I earned 230$ and after tilt I felt down to 22$ because I wanted to get even in NL100. This tilt could finished my bankroll. Fortunately I recovered and I was in game. First tilt was conected with losing money. Second was worse. I had very long downswing and after when I lost few cents I started throwing my chips and I crashed clock. I was in fury and my emotions were destroyed. I was ready to stop playing teksas holdem forever. I had 2 months break.
Now teksas holdem for me is like a war with myself. The biggest enemy in this war is me and my emotions. I practise my skills in this topic, emotions. After I had second tilt I promised myself that I won't never be in this condition.
So in this blog I'll describe only hand where I will lose money and I will have to manage with my emotions. It'll be about bad beat, coolers and big mistakes. Sometimes I'll paste big winning pots.
Stats MP after 102 hands: 22/4/4.5 Range: 99+, AKso, AQs
First bet on flop didn't tell me a lot. It could be only c- bet. On turn I decided to call because my opponent could fire a second barrel but when he fired again on river it wasn't worth. His range was 4% so I was sure that my hand wasn't good enough to call.
I gave this hand to evaluation and I should fold on turn. NL5 AQo
fold, MP calls $0.10, Hero raises to $0.40, fold, SB raises to $1.40, fold, fold, Hero raises to $3.20, SB raises to $10.09 and is all-in, Hero calls $6.89
Flop:($20.38, 2 players) 2
Turn:($20.38, 2 players) 5
River:($20.38, 2 players) 6
SB shows A
(One Pair, Aces) (PreFlop 82%, Flop 92%, Turn 95%) Hero shows K
(One Pair, Kings) (PreFlop 18%, Flop 8%, Turn 5%) SB wins $19.03
2# 66 vs A6s -1.79$
My stack was destroyed one hand before and I forgot to complete it but what I did in this hand was a big misunderstanding. I don't know what I was thinking about on turn. I hit a set. Pot was about 1$, 1.29$ was left in my stack and I was slowplaying my set. O man. Disastrous hand!!
BTN stats after 90 hands: 17/1/2 and fold to 3bet preflop 100%.
LP stats: 33/21
When BTN called my 3bet preflop and flop was very unfavorable for my pocket 9 I decided not to c-bet. On turn I did't call BTN because I thought that it was a big probability that BTN had A or K.
Hand evaluations: NL5 99 6-max
Flop:($0.85, 2 players) 4
Hero checks, LP bets $0.64, Hero raises to $1.90, LP raises to $9.60 and is all-in, Hero calls $7.70
Turn:($20.05, 2 players) 9
River:($20.05, 2 players) K
LP shows A
(Flush, Ace High) (PreFlop 84%, Flop 32%, Turn 100%) Hero shows Q
(Flush, King High) (PreFlop 16%, Flop 68%, Turn 0%) LP wins $18.72
#2 AKo vs 99 -2$
So I think that in this situation I have to call because my call was well-founded. If UTG had got AA or KK, it would be unlucky situation but when UTG held lower pairs than KK my equity to win this hand would be 44%. After my RR preflop, UTG pushed all chips to pot so I had to add 1.30$ to fight for 4.2$. It was 30%. So it was easy call.
Hand evaluations: NL5 AKo

#1 KK vs AA -4.89$
I don't remember when I had run like this with my pocket kings. 3 days and in every day I had cooler with KK. It's started a little tiring but what I can do? It's better than when you make stupid mistakes. It's poker so I have to accept this.

I have to say with sorrow and make you sad because in this session I didn't have got any bad beats, coolers and big mistakes. I'd like to show you nice a table read and two hands where I doubled my stack.
fold, Hero raises to $0.15, fold, BTN calls $0.15, SB raises to $0.40, BB calls $0.35, Hero raises to $1.20, fold, SB calls $0.80, BB raises to $4.87 and is all-in, Hero calls $3.44 and is all-in, fold
Flop:($10.63, 2 players) 3
Turn:($10.63, 2 players) T
River:($10.63, 2 players) 6
BB shows K
(One Pair, Sixes) (PreFlop 25%, Flop 14%, Turn 16%) Hero shows A
(One Pair, Sixes) (PreFlop 75%, Flop 86%, Turn 84%)
Now teksas holdem for me is like a war with myself. The biggest enemy in this war is me and my emotions.
that is very good attitude towards right direction.Psychological skills is still underrated in poker world ,but those skills separate mediocre players from good one.I'm in such war myself,it's the war ,not the battle.I can suggest to read Poker mindset ( first half of it).
Imho is no need to post only negative hands, you have to do right conclusions from them and improve your game.Better write how do you cope with yourself and those emotions.

I've read this book. I think it's the most important poker book I've ever read. I learned new attitude to poker and my emotions so I can recommend this. I've also read another mindset book 'Treat you poker like a business'. Very good one too.
One of the reason why I started this blog is that I wanna prove me that I can be able not to tilting and I can control my emotions and it's no matter on which NL I play. I have a close friend who all the time is on the tilt. When he was playing on NL10, he was tilting. Now he plays on NL50 and NL100 and also has got very tough time. A lot of people complain and are angry, pissed off when got bad beats and coolers. It's poker. If you don't manage you emotions, don't play. This game should be great fun not curse. So I wonder what will happen with my emotions when I'll be on NL50 and I'll got bad beat. We will see soon. I'm sure that it will be in near future.

I can say... WOW... I'm taken in how much I lost during few hands. From 20$ to 0$ in one table. Check it out!!!
#1 T9s vs 77 -10$
First reaction in this hand was frustration because I thought that I made a big mistake when I shoved all my chips to the pot. But from mathematical point of way it was good move because...
If I only called... the pot would be 4.85$ and MP would reraise to 9.60$(all in) so (4.85+1.60+8+8)\8= 35%
The chance to win this hand is 40% so it is profitable call
Hand evaluations: NL10 T9s

I couldn't sleep at night and about 4 am I started playing. I made one big mistake at the beginning of my session. Now I don't know why I did this. I had also one bad beat and set vs straight. Check it out!
#1 AJo vs 77 -2$
I think I wasn't focus properly. This hand was 4th hand of session so maybe it's a reason why I made such a horrible mistake.I don't remember when I made mistake like this.
UTG raises to $0.04, Hero raises to $0.20, CO raises to $0.36, fold, fold, fold, UTG raises to $0.52, Hero raises to $0.80, CO raises to $1.08, UTG calls $0.56, Hero raises to $1.97 and is all-in, CO calls $0.89, UTG calls $0.89
Flop:($5.94, 3 players) 4
UTG checks, CO checks
if you check my thread, than you'll see that I had (and sometimes still have) a problem with controlling my reactions/emotions after bad beats. My AA hands are cracked almost always, yesterday lost some KK vs TT, and today QQ vs 77 and so on...the good thing is I already lost my bankroll while on tilt,so now I'm playing only satellites and freerolls and when a bad beat happens there are no $$$ left to spend while on tilt
seems like this posting thing is a good way for you and like you are controling way better than you did when you started,am I right? I just started to read the book(poker mindset) and hope it will help me..
wish you all the best, that we both will watch at bad beats like on something completely normal
yeap u have absolutely right that i can control my emotions better than when i started. i read two books about poker mindset which help me very much. i can recommend reading books about this because there are very useful.
Now im after big trip and i live in new place so first i made few stupid mistakes. ive adopted to new place, new computer and today is everything ok. i cant paste hand from latest sessions because i had problem with my pt3.
