I was playing damn tight, 11/9/5. Villain looks like a TAG, 23/20 with 0 3bet (to that point) and infinite AF, but I had only 30 hands on him.

      PartyGaming - $0.04 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

      BTN: $3.51
      SB: $7.07
      BB: $3.27
      Hero (UTG): $4.00
      MP: $4.61
      CO: $1.44

SB posts SB $0.02, BB posts BB $0.04

      Pre Flop: ($0.06) Hero has J:diamond: J:heart:

Hero raises to $0.12, fold, fold, BTN raises to $0.32, fold, fold, Hero calls $0.20

      Flop: ($0.70, 2 players) 3:club: 9:club: 9:heart:
Hero checks, BTN bets $0.40, Hero calls $0.40

      Turn: ($1.50, 2 players) 2:diamond:
Hero checks, BTN bets $0.88, Hero calls $0.88

      River: ($3.26, 2 players) 6:spade:
Hero checks, BTN bets $1.91 and is all-in

Hero whines a bit, complains about the miserable spot he put himself into and...?

About the line: calling 3 bet is ok? Should I 4 bet? Should I have check-raised flop and folded to resistance? Should I...?

Then again, looking at the post from "outside" it seems like an excellent fold ott after the 2nd barrel on a 3bet pot.

BUT... I see people 2nd barrelling there soooo often with AK/AQ...

      Hello luizsilveira,

Preflop: While he has been pretty nitty, I might even sometimes just fold the hand. You have to take into account as well that you have been very nitty on the table and you are raising from UTG which is very strong and therefore I guess he must have somewhat a stronger range as well here.

      As played
Postflop: I would likely rather fold it on turn, I don't really see him 2nd barreling that often there with just AK, and even not sure either he is 3betting with AQ. Very often people tend to just Check behind on turn when they are getting a free card, why should they try to barrel you off? Therefore rather fold it on turn or go broke on turn.

      Best regards.
