      Hello,
Can someone tell me why did the pot was tied in this hand?
Im sorry for not using any hand converter, but i hope you can see the main point here. I thought that pot should go to player with K8, since he has better kicker...
      Thanks

      your final hand was kkqt9
      villians was kkqt9

you can only use five cards so your 8 does not play. so doesnt matter that your 8 was higher than his 7 cos you dont use those cards for the best five card poker hand

As evertonroar said, the best hand was a shared one. I must admit I used to get confused by that quite a bit too in the begining :D
At least you have the sense to ask! I was stuck trying to figure this out alone and coming up with the, "poker is rigged" routine :D
      Good luck at the tables

      Thanks for responses :)
Actually i felt stupid asking this noobish question becouse i have already played like 50k hands in full ring cash games :D But never came to this confusing situation.
Now i realise thats because i always muck hand like K8 and similar trash, so never had situation where my kicker doesnt matter :D
