I'm looking to transfer some money between poker sites and maybe take advantage of some bonus offers. I have money spread out over a few sites and moneybookers is tempting as almost all sites use it. However I've heard some horror stories about frozen accounts and lengthy verification etc. Any opinions from users? Any precautions I should take or things I should know before funding my wallet?

I like. I'm using it for about half a year now, no problems so far. Moving money fast to / from poker rooms, no fees for that (assuming same currency). Since NETELLER is not available for me, moneybookers seems to be the best option by far.

Some people don't like non-free currency conversion on moneybookers; for multiple currencies there may be a better option. For me, it's not an issue as I opened moneybookers account in USD and accounts in the poker rooms are in USD too.

Do you care to share those horror stories? Frozen accounts sound scary.

In most cases, Moneybookers blocks one account when they detect that it's logged in from a strange IP address or it's have some transfers from/ to accounts related to fraud. activities. Always log in your account by your own computer and never transfer with a strange acccount, your account will always be in safe. And if your account is blocked, it can be very annoying because Moneybookers support is very very slow, i think.

      Good luck at the tables!
