      in retrospect i should of folded preflop, i was oop and with a not so strong hand

      but how was i suposed to play it postflop, should i bet out to get information and posibly protect my hand?

      I'd fold PF.

      As played, since I wasn't the PF agressor, I'd go for a check/raise. If I'm against passive players I'd lead out myself on the flop. There are draws out there and you have to protect your hand.

      I typically fold PF, but not to this bet size. I'd lead strongly on the flop or c/r - a call down is -EV.
