      Hey pokerstrategy forums. :)

Just a quick question regarding the $50 starting roll. I just passed my quiz and I'd like to play on Full Tilt but after todays changes I'm not sure if that's a good idea?

I'm a non-US citizen so not sure if that's a wise choice or not. If not, is Party Poker good for SnG traffic?

      Cheers,
      Talzick

Hi Talzick and welcome to PokerStrategy, good to see you join us.

As you will no doubt appreciate, the breaking news from America is fast moving and still unfolding as we speak. As such we cannot offer any advice at this stage until more information is known. PokerStrategy will advise members more in due course when the situation becomes clearer.

In terms of Partypoker, I believe they are the 3rd or 4th biggest platform and so traffic volumes should be pretty decent across all buyin levels. Maybe some members who play there a little more frequently than I currently do can confirm this for you though ;)

Hope this helps and welcome once again to our community :)

Thanks for the response - I figured things wouldn't be looking good for Full Tilt so Party Poker it is!

Could anyone tell me if they do validation over the weekend?

My advice stay away from FT and PS for the next few days/weeks.

Yep, if you don't have money on PS and FT at this point stay away. No sense putting your money at risk when things are up in the air. I would stay away from Bodog as well and any other site that offers poker to American citizens.

Party's software is crap and they make bizarre errors with the Sports Betting. They also charge too much rake on SNGs and I think their casino games are rigged. Besides that however, there are lots of fish, a rewards system set up similar to Pokerstars and fairly good traffic.

It won't hurt to give it a try. I'm quite sure you can sign up anytime 24/7 at Party. If you want the $50 starting roll I don't have an answer on that, sorry.

i just referred a friend and told him to get his $50 at party poker.

im still at full tilt while i try grind out the rest of my bonus, once done if i am able to withdraw i will be heading for party poker. my thoughts are that i can grind out a new deposit bonus there for the next few months while all this fbi stuff is going on and just hope that it all gets sorted so i can move back at full tilt.

sad times though, full tilt has been great
