easy call imo. If you hit the nuts you win lots and lots, and you hit it often enough to call here. If you can take the damage/variance it's no problem. Did you try bss next hand? :p

You make your flush more than 1/3 of the time and you only invest 5.70 to win like 20 which makes this +EV. Also there are some additional outs, perhaps 2.5 or so discounted that give you a split pot.

And preflop I would limp this any time, you've got a huge stack compared to your normal one and (hopefully) you play only for the flush and maybe trips/straight value so you can lay it down if you missed the flop and you invested only $0.05.

And for the handconverter look at about posting up hands and scroll a bit down to see my post.

      you can limp from SB:

      any pair with 2+ limpers,
any broadway suited connectors, broadway suited one-gappers and ATs and ATo with 3+ limpers.

You can also steal with ATs, or raise (from late) if there was only 1 limper (middle-late)

You can limp any pocket pair from the late with 2+ limpers and play them for set value.

All of the instruction I have had is to play the SSS to the letter which means no limping, no stealing the blinds or any of the moves mentioned above. I would have thought that these moves are more BSS and are far more dependent on reads which again isn't in the SSS.

The SSS is supposed to be rigid and uncomplicated once it is fully understood but adding these extra plays changes that

beginners should play strict and to the letter. More advanced players can change it up, and on the higher limits, they pretty much have to. :)

Don`t add anything unless you are ready for that. Most of the advanced moves don`t work very well on lower limits, that`s why it is not recommended to steal, squeeze, etc on the lower limits. But as nick said, later on you have to to mix up your game a bit. For this reason there is an andvanced coaching for gold members. So don`t worry and play your simple SSS, it is working fine untill NL 100 for sure.
