Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.25/$0.5 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

      Known players:
      BB (Hero):

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, J.
4 folds, SB raises to $1.25, Hero raises to $3.50, SB calls $2.25.

      Flop: ($7) 2, 3, J (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $4.00, SB raises to $15.00, Hero raises to $46.50, SB calls $31.50.

      Turn: ($100) 9 (2 players)

      River: ($100) 7 (2 players)

      Final Pot: $100.

      Villain is a reg. 15/11 steal 35, fold to 3bet 18%. fold to cbet 60%, fold to 3bet cbet 66%. check/raise flop 0%, agg 4.0, wtsd 27, wwsf 44
QQ+ is out of his range. I gave him the odds to call prf with a PP, so a set is very likely, but given that he doesn't fold to 3bets, i had to call.
but yeah, i can't think of another hand besides a set, maybe a flushdraw.

if he is c/r that big he isn´t generally not folding but his c/r range for value is a lot wider than set or AJ+ starting with overcard+flushdraws, maybe any flushdraws and good Jx hands, like KJ, QJ, maybe even JTs
      So standard bet/shove spot

      Hello vmarqui,

Preflop: Basically while he makes such a small raise I would just make a bigger 3bet like at least $4.
Postflop: And against such a nit in SH game, I'd rather Bet/Fold it while we only see him Check/Raising the very first time and not really any specific reads. He rather Calls with any kind of PPS preflop or as well traps. I don't think that he will like ever raise there Jx and either I don't expect to see a semi-bluff here either.

And as well it's not true that in 3bet pot TP = nuts, while we maybe even didn't do the 3bet for value and which is likely the case against that nit.

      Best regards.
