in this case, I was a bit lost on the flop. MP2's PFR is only 3.5 but checked the flop. I was thinking about bet/folding but I decided I probably can't make a better hand to fold and not a lot of worst hands would call (maybe a flushdraw or TT) so while IP, I checked behind. My plan was to bet most turns if they check to me for the second time or call a small bet. After the big turn bet I folded. If I was OOP, I would probably donk 25 cents.

My questions are: 1. was the check on the flop OK? 2. Should I donk in such situations while playing OOP?

      pre-flop raiser- VPIP-20.5; PFR-3.5; AF-1.3; WTSD-25; W$SD-59; hands-787

      Thanks and best wishes.

      Hello Dback357,

Yeah, I'd basically bet the flop and find out where we stand and maybe even protect from some draws or overcards.

      Best regards.

Thank you, I think my play with second pair is too weak in general. I have to correct that leak. In this case, I was really afraid of that 3.5 PFR so his flop check looked suspicious. :)

      I'll definitely bet/fold next time.
