      Hello Burgeo29,

      Welcome to the NL BSS Hand Evaluation Forum! Hopefully we will see more hands from you in the future, so we will be able to help you fix your leaks and as well help move up the limits. We will be waiting for the next hands and till that good luck on tables!

      Preflop: Even 3betting is kinda close here, while having position you can as well just call and play postflop. Although 3betting ain't wrong if you had a reason.
      Postflop: I wouldn't Check the turn, although I just don't see many hands what we beat when he decides to shove the turn.

      Board: A:diamond: 2:spade: A:club:  A:spade:
             Equity     Win     Tie
      UTG    31.58%  31.58%   0.00% { TdTh }
      UTG+1  68.42%  68.42%   0.00% { KK-JJ, 99-88, AQs+, AQo+ }

      And therefore I might even prefer to Bet/Fold it here.

      And add to full stack if playing BSS.

      Best regards.

      Thanks for the warm welcome.

      I never considered bet/folding the turn as i would expect him to 4bet with JJ or better.

      I guess that is something i should consider more in the future when in this kind of spot.

      Cheers :)

      Nah, it's not always the case. They can easily just flat as well and sometimes they might even trap with any kind of higher PPs as well. And of course you are welcome. :)
