      $0.05/$0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)

      Known players:
      CO (Hero) = ($9.85)
      BU = ($10.56)
      SB = ($31.08)
      BB = ($10.15)
      UTG2 = ($10.87)
      MP1 = ($9.22)
      MP2 = ($29.36)
      MP3 = ($9.60)

      Preflop: Hero is CO with J, Q.
      4 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, BU folds, SB calls $0.25, BB folds.

      Flop: ($0.7) T, 5, Q (2 players)
      SB checks, Hero bets $0.44, SB calls $0.44.

      Turn: ($1.58) J (2 players)
      SB checks, Hero bets $0.99, SB raises to $1.98, Hero calls $0.99.

      River: ($5.54) 3 (2 players)
      SB bets $3.00, Hero raises to $7.13, SB calls $4.13.

      Final Pot: $19.80.

      Results follow:

      Hero shows two pairs, queens and jacks(J Q).
      SB shows a straight, ace high(K A).

      SB wins with a straight, ace high(K A).

      Was this just a cooler, or should I have found a fold at some point or not re-raised on the river? Basically, I'm wondering if there was a way I could have gotten away from this, or if I made the right decision.

      Hello Salivanth,

      Good to see you posting again! Only one problem in your posts is that they don't have suits. It seems that you coping the wrong format, could you try next time posting with suits, it's hard to give correct analyze without suits.

      About the hand:
      Basically you can Call on turn but I wouldn't really go fancy with the hand while it's just 2pairs and he could easily be holding a set/straights. Likely only reasonable hand we might beat there is some JT holding and that's likely all or split with QJ. What worse would Check/Raise the turn? And therefore I would act as well accordingly on river, wouldn't raise there at the best I'd Call and might even find a fold against straight forward player and who does mostly with nuts such a raise.

      Best regards.
