For some reason i always am struggling how to play 99 as over pair on the flop:

Hand converted with online hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

      Known players:
      BB (Hero):

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9, 9.
3 folds, BU calls $0.02, SB calls $0.01, Hero raises to $0.08, BU calls $0.06, SB folds.

      Flop: ($0.18) 3, 4, 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.18, BU calls $0.18.

      Turn: ($0.54) Q (2 players)
      Hero checks, BU checks.

      River: ($0.54) 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, BU bets $0.18, Hero calls $0.18.

      Final Pot: $0.9.

How can i improve my play, thanks in advance!

      Hello Chippie82,

Preflop: I'd raise it bigger here ~$0,14 for 2 limpers and being OOP.
Flop: Wouldn't make it pot, $0,14 should be enough.
Turn: Likely just Bet for protection here and as well for free showdown.
River: As you went for passive line on turn then Check/Calling should be fine, he could easily even bluff here for bet with weaker pairs.

How can i improve my play, thanks in advance!

For first thing and most likely the fastest way to improve your play is to post more hands. :)

      Best regards.
