The Making of a Poker Table...

      Hey there,

So I plan on making a poker table but I was wondering if anyone in the community has made one before? I have already got some materials and drawn up a couple little drafts (which hopefully I'll upload tomorrow when I get up), but I'm thinking I could use any advice before I get going on it. I'm not living in a huge house so I'm thinking an octagon with 2 ft. spaces, making the total around 62" from point to point and 58" from flat to flat. The wood I'm using is some cedar boards that were on our deck for like a year then got taken off because the stain never held, so I'll be stripping the stain and choppin' em up. The beauty of all this is that my folks are tight with a family that owns a woodworking business so I'll have access to plenty of machinery/tools. I've also preordered some black felt and cupholders.
