I have only 38 hands on villain and no reads. the question is more general as this type of scenario happens quite a bit. I have an overpair (quite a lot over) and a very drawy board comes I get raised or c/r on the flop against mostly unknown. what do I do?. I will do an equity calculation with the range I put him on.

been unknown I am giving him a very wide calling range on the flop.

      Board: 8s 7s 6d

      Equity Win Tie Loss Hand
      Player 1: 48.934 % 46.502 % 4.865 % 48.633 % KhKc
      Player 2: 51.066 % 48.633 % 4.865 % 46.502 % 55+, AsKs, AsQs, AsJs, AsTs, T9s, 98s

and I am just bellow 50% so I guess because of all the dead money in the pot it is an easy shove?

I would easily go broke here since he called our 4 bet pre so we can't really out him on flopped 2 pair or set (he has to be pretty terrible to have that), consequently I only see him having here only an overpair (AA sometimes) or a nfd.

      Hello thazar,

Not only the dead money but as well I wouldn't him even put all that wide range, basically I don't think that he has those low SCs that often in 4bet pot. Rather some PP or this AsKs/AsQs type of hand unless he is really some station or trapping with AA.

So therefore in 4bet pot with KK there is no way I am getting it away and if we even remove the holdings of the SCs then we should be even ahead. And of course the equity for correct Call is anyway correct there, we need like 25% equity? :D

      Best regards.
