Hand converted with online hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.25/$0.5 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

      Known players:
      CO (Hero):

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q, K.
      UTG1 calls $0.50, 3 folds, MP3 calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2.50, 2 folds, BB calls $2.00, 2 folds, MP3 folds.

      Flop: ($6.25) 8, 8, 8 (2 players)
      BB checks, Hero checks.

      Turn: ($6.25) A (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $4.00, BB calls $4.00.

      River: ($14.25) 4 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $8.00, BB calls $8.00.

      Final Pot: $30.25.

16 12 random reg, not so good. i believe he always has pocket pairs.
      sooo, my thoughts were:
1)on flop he's not folding his PP, so no point in betting unless i'm 3barrelling to represent an overpair.
2)on turn i try to represent an ace. by betting again on the river, i'm screaming "i've an ace!", so he's most likely folding his pocket pairs.

I'd bet more on the river. you make it tempting to call with a pp by betting just over 1/2 pot. I'd bet like $12- $13 on river.

not worst board to c-bet, since he would fold there very likely some better Ax hands or if you double barrel then also he may fold his small pp-s
You´re reping ace, but if he c/c turn I think he may also c/c again on the river, so likely I´d first get impression what hands he is c/c turn and then adjust properly. If he c/c turn 55 then I´m not really sure he would c/f river, since 4 is blank card for him
