Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.25/$0.5 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

      Known players:
      CO:
      $33.00
      BU:
      $22.50
      SB (Hero):
      $50.00
      BB:
      $41.50
      UTG1:
      $16.85
      UTG2:
      $37.25
      MP1:
      $23.10
      MP2:
      $101.00
      MP3:
      $57.40

Preflop: Hero is SB with J, J.
      3 folds, MP2 raises to $1.50, MP3 calls $1.50, 2 folds, Hero calls $1.25, BB folds.

      Flop: ($5) 7, 8, 5 (3 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets $3.00, MP3 folds, Hero calls $3.00.

      Turn: ($11) 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets $6.00, Hero calls $6.00.

      River: ($23) 2 (2 players)
      Hero checks, MP2 checks.

      Final Pot: $23.

i thought that since he is rather tight, the only hand i beat was TT other than his bluff range, which was unlikely to bet on the turn given the much-coordinated flop.

i thought the best line would be c/c c/f

I'd probably lead there , but actually like your line, it makes more sense. but what do you do facing a bet with an over card on flop or turn?, what do you do facing a river bet of 1/2 pot, 3/4 or pot? about his stats you dont have much of a sample (ie 22% PFR from MP and 13% from BU just because of sample) .

Also OOP it might be good to squeeze with JJ.

It doesn't mean anythins as the hand sample is too small.
      I'd also 3bet JJ,infact I don't fold JJ if I got a 4bet pf.
as played,JJ is our top range,I don't want to fold to a river bet.
IMO,turn card is a scary card,2pair ,straight...everything got here,I wouldn't bet turn ever I got AA in my hand cause it could be so sick while got a check raise on turn.So if he 3 barrels this board,I don't think his hand is so strong.

I´d likely lead at least two streets, since you should also protect your hand and if you dont´feel comfortable calling down I think you can also take initiative
Likely you can´t c/f to half potsize bet on the turn, since he can barrel there his draws or maybe even just A high hands
