      Hello players,

Right now, Im playing Scoop 1 event 22 Buy in, 6-max NLHE on pokerstars and had one interesting hand.

Once I will figure out how to post hands here, I would do it the pretty way.

      Starting stacks 10000chips
This was already level 50/100 where average stack was slightly over 11K

My chip stack was over 12K
      Villian had about 6K
he was a loose opponent, had vpip of 48 after 53 hands

he raised to 300, i re-raised with my AQs to 700, he shoved all in...

So first thing on my mind was to fold, but then again. He is loose, probably wants his chips back ... might push with weaker ace or low pocket pair ... and maybe it will be an opportunity to chip up for me (not necessary at that point, since after 50min of play i was still above average)
Well, I decided to call and I was sick to my stomach when he turned over AA ... I lost that pot (12K)

Had 6K left, eventually I worked my way up back to current 15,5K (no double ups, i just played good agressive poker), this was just one misstep, I guess

What are thoughts on this hand???

I have one more ... this was even earlier, so i didnt have a good read on my opponents.
Had AQ again, raised, got re-raised, I called...
Flop TJQ rainbow, he bet almost the pot, i called ... the turn came blank, he bet 2/3 of pot again .... i felt like he had a set or aces and kings so I laid that down.... Again, whats your thoughts???

Doyle says AQ is a trouble, I guess he is right ....
damn it, i just finished this sentence and villian with 8BB left pushed for 2K, I had AQ, i called, he turned AK, I lost again ...

Despite all those hands, my chip stack is at 17,2K, which is basically the average right now, so not that bad ... ccoulve been better

PS: Love the slow structure of SCOOP events

depends on villain the first hand, prob would fold, with this slow structure you can find better spots. i am playing, currently ~13k, but very strugling, didnt have any good hands and missed lots of flops, and just got a new table, so my image is gone, but what the heck, lets shiip it :)

You have a 120 BB stack so you have plenty of room to outplay your opponents.

One important thing to realise is vpip only says something about how much hands they play not how agressive they are

If he has 5 pfr then it's better to fold since you do very bad vs his range. Since the structure is so slow you really don't need to get it in easy. It's unlikely his 4B shoving range is wide enough that it's really worth it. Unless ofcourse you think you don't have an edge on your opponents in which case you shouldn't even be playing. Basicaly with AQ it's a strong hand but you usually won't be crushing your opponent. You do very good vs lower Ax and Qx hands but all other hands you don't do that amazing against. Since he shoved you also don't have fold equity.

Basicaly in a turbo vs someone who raises 15-20+ pfr and 3/4bets loose then you can definetly justify a call. Although i assume you don't have a big enough sample to know how loose he 3/4 bets. Since the structure is slow and your very deep i think folding is a lot better and wait for a better spot/hand.

Hey, why don't you post these in the hand evaluation forus? This way you will get a response from one of our professional hand judges.

The first one seems pretty bad wrong, but the second one looks like a decent fold.

have never done it before ... next time, I will put it up there :)

I would def lay the first down against any other opponent, this one had 28PR and 48VPIP (i have used HUD only for couple days so far), played so many hands ... and he blowed a huge part of this stack just before this hand so i thought he might have been just tilting ... After I called, it def seemed like a big misstep

      anyways, thanks for the responses

I'm not doing very well now. Stack at 15K, average at 26K .... well, anything is possible

hmm i gotta study and am a bit tired, so I will skip it I guess, just have to finish one other 4,40 tourney

      1000 players, 114 remaining, 104 - paid places

Played hand just few moments ago AQ again lol
      my stack 16K, villian's stack 46K, blinds 400/800

      Villian raised to 1800 , i called from BB ... ( pot 4800)
Flop AT4 (2 diamonds), he bet 800, i re-raised to 2400 (shoulve been more), he called ... the turn Q of diamonds ... he shoved all in
pot was 9600, i needed 14,6K to call this all in bet ...
since it was just before the bubble (and AQ, which i hate since today) i folded ...

      Any thoughts?

yeah, open push with 15 or less, but 3bet push can easily be made with up to 25
