i thought his range on the flop was going to be mostly big pocket pairs and some AK. the CB on the flop could have been all big pocket pairs with very little AK. we are calling on the flop mostly for set value, and when we dont hit i guess we can already fold the flop, since AK has equity against us and most pp beats us.

      +1

I think by calling post you are burning $$$. even by calling pre I am not sure you have the right equity even with the chances to stack him.

      Hello EmanuelC16,

If I am even calling preflop then mainly my plan would be to Call for set value mostly and rather not try to Call the flop because even calling preflop is somewhat close with the implied odds. But mainly while his range is towards very strong hands and he likely will go broke then we can consider even calling.

Therefore I'd as well rather fold the flop and as played there is no way we beat any hand on river, he has likely beat us. Don't think that he would try to bluff us on river as he Checked the turn. If he really had AK then he would as well Check the river.

      Best regards.
