      Hey JHTAN,

Againt this villain who has very loose range, folds to c-bet a lot and has low WTS I think a c-bet would be +EV.

Against unknown on the other I would never c-bet this board.

      Best regards,

      Hello burek,

May you give me some examples that which broads are -EV to cbet?

I think broads that are -EV to cbet are :

      1) three connected cards
      2) three cards of the same suit
      3) two connected cards and two cards of the same suit

      Thanks.

      Hey JHTAN,

In general the boards that are bad to c-bet are boards with low cards(J-high or lower boards) and the more they are drawy the less it's profitable to c-bet. 3 connected cards of same suit is more or less the worst to c-bet given the cards are low(you can still c-bet A :spade: K :spade: Q :spade: board).

So, drawy boards with low cards are the ones you should try not to c-bet. All the boards you mentioned are bad to c-bet.

I hope this clarifies what boards are bad to c-bet, but if you still have trouble determining what boards to c-bet and which not feel free to ask some more questions.

      Best regards,
      burek2000

      1)Q :diamond: J :spade: 5 :club: rainbow

      3)4 :spade: 5  Q :club: rainbow
      4)2  4 :diamond: 7 :club: rainbow
5)K  5  9 :diamond: two cards of the same suit

If I'm allowed to express my opinion, I don't cbet much with air :
      1) and 2) against loose opponents because their range is heavy in medium cards like J, T, 9, 8.
      3) is good to cbet
      4) they might call with many overcards. I cbet only in position with ace high type hands.
      5) I think this one is good to cbet but I still get lots of floats :f_confused:

      Hey JHTAN,

      1) This is semi good board to c-bet. Against unknows I would c-bet but if you get some information on the opponent then you can adapt whether to c-bet or not based on his ranges.

      2) I don't c-bet this board. All SCs got a piece of it and villain might not even fold overcards.

      3) This is a very good board to c-bet.

      4) This is very similar to 2) and I don't c-bet.

      5) Another very good board to c-bet.

      Best regards,
