I played five straight days at Brantford before bronchitis forced me to take a break. Brantford only offers limit starting at 2/5. Min buyin is $50 with no max. There are kill tables and no-kill tables. When a hand goes heads up the cap is lifted, which can lead to some exciting betting rounds.

Anyway, just wondering whether anyone else here plays live there and, if not, whether you'd be interested in teaming up to play live there. Post in this thread or friend me to let me know.

I think I may want to give it a shot in the summer. I can't make any guarantees, though (moving, baby, etc etc). I will message you if I can make it there in July or August. I've never played limit live. I've also only ever driven by Brantford. Sounds interesting. Again, though, I cannot say for sure this summer.

Okay, let me know. I'm posting about my live play experiences in the Blogs forum under _The Live Wire: an Experiment_.

Geez, I'm not even sure how you'd get from Brampton to Brantford. You'd probably have to take the Greyhound from Dixie Outlet Mall in Mississauga. Either that or take a GO Bus/Train from Brampton to Union Station first. And I don't know how much it woulc cost.

The GO bus to Hamilton is $19 round trip, and the Greyhound from Hamilton to Brantford is $16.16 same-day non-refundable round trip.

The Greyhound actually goes from Toronto but costs about $43 round trip, so the GO bus option is cheaper.

I also hate Fallsview because of its crooked Nazi general manager. Niagara I plan to play at some time in June or July.

The GO Train and Bus to Niagara Falls is $33.20 round trip. There's also a Coach Canada bus to Fallsview that costs about half that, but there are lots of silly restrictions and you need a player's card. I threw mine in the garbage the last time I went to Fallsview.

      Here's the schedule page:

      http://www.gotransit.com/publicroot/en/schedules/lstserdt.aspx?table=12&station=&new=

Note that the schedule varies between weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays/holidays.

The short answer is that the last GO Bus leaves Niagara (at the VIA station) at 9:30 pm daily. If you miss that one, the next one is at 5:30 am weekdays and 7:30 am weekends. The bus takes you to Burlington GO station and you take the train from there.

Why, do you want to go to Niagara some time in June? Niagara has only $1/$2 no limit, minimum buyin $100. Fallsview has higher limits than that.
