BB shows a pair of jacks (Ac Jh)

BB wins with a pair of jacks (Ac Jh)

Villain was a complete maniac, seen him shoving with complete air after getting 3bet. And I had seen him get it in pretty loose pf.

I raised MP3 since I had done the same a hand earlier and BB had been pretty keen to 4bet, I was hoping he would do the same again.

Should I just call the pf raise from MP3 here? And then if BB reraises?

Also when playing such an aggressive opponent, should I be wanting to stack off preflop with 88-JJ? Or rather try get to see some flops and hope to hit a set or overpair etc and stack off then?

      Thanks for feedback

      Hello Jeffers16,

What about his 3bet/4bet range? Was he 3betting as well that often and such maniac style or was he rather Calling and being more aggressive postflop? Although if he really was 3betting/4betting a lot then I'd basically just try to get it in than Call or anything similar. We don't really want to see overcards on board.

And 88, 99 maybe is too light but depends of course how often he does 3bet/4bet. But I'd consider going TT+ if he is somewhat aggressive maniac.

      Best regards.
