Those are some pretty steamy hands, all right. My dream is to be in the final 3 of an MTT and have a three-way all in where both villains have KK and I have AA. :D

lol, i have been part of a hand where i shared AA with a villain and another villain had JJ, flopped another J and both AA eliminated.

      Not in the final though.

Heh always funny seeing long-shots. But...

The first hand you posted, not strange at all!

      KK
      KK
      J4s

plug it into any poker calculator and you'll see the J4s actually has 18.26% to win!

That means it wins in a bit less than 1 in 5 times.

Hands where one in a billion shots happened already (in the WSOP 2008, quad aces lost to a royal flush... the odds of both of these being in a hand are 1 in 2.7 billion! imagine! saying that the hand that you busted out of the tournament with was quad aces!!! :P )

1 in 5 or 1 in a 100 cases aren't that interesting...because they happen all the time for regulars... heh nice though

      and to belayd :

Don't you know that murphy would make sure that one of the KK would hit his 4 flush cards in that case (with one of the suits you don't have...)

No, you can't get away from it at all. :) That's a lesson I learned some years ago. But thanks for the reminder.

      Lol.....nothing like that, I wasn't born until 87.

I just think leet speek is cool. Combination of spending too long in IRC when I was younger and from spending a lot of time playing MUD games (text based rpgs).

      w34z3l = weasel

i.e I will take all your chips by being a crafty weasel :D

also 4z3l - it's an arrow going through a heart if you look closely :]

MUD stands for Multi User Dimension or Multi User Dungeon (depending on who you ask).

It is similar to many mmorpgs (massive multiplayer online role-playing games) such as word of warcraft, conqueror, lineage, to name just a few. The only difference is, the game is entirely in text.

The most popular MUD game can be found at http://www.aardwolf.com/ and I have played regularly here in the past.

You can do tons of stuff, level, quest, explore, PK, and even play poker amongst other things!

It's free to play, so check it out if you think you might like this sort of thing.

EDIT Uh, looking at your question again maybe you were just asking me which MUDs I've played. Mainly Aardwolf, but I've looked at load of others such as WOT, archaea, materia magicka, and some MUSH games.

Yes, the question was regarding which MUDs, sorry for the unclear nature of the phrasing. :)

I've mostly played Discworld MUD, but was on Aarwolf a bit and tried Achaea out, but didn't really fancy either of them much.

Only lasted about 4 hours on WOT, it was driving me crazy.
