      Grabbed by Holdem Manager
      NL Holdem $0.50(BB) Replayer
      SB ($55.10)
      BB ($50)
      UTG ($50)
      UTG+1 ($117)
      UTG+2 ($34)
      Hero ($20)
      MP2 ($52.90)
      CO ($56.30)
      BTN ($86.55)

      Dealt to Hero K:club: A:spade:

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $1.50, fold, CO raises to $4.50, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $20 (AI), CO calls $16.50

Minimum equity needed(assume no FED) to go broke for 40bb is $18.5/($40.75*0.95)=0.4778=47.8% and
      for 30bb is $13.5/($30.75*0.95)=0.4621=46.2%

      Let assume villain's 3bet/calling range is JJ+,AK
AKo vs this range is 42.8%
AKs vs this range is 39.8%
JJ vs this range is 36.58%

      Vs TT+,AK
      AKo is 40.4%
      AKs is 43.4%
      JJ is 43.2%

As you can see above, I think 4bet shove with AKo, AKs, JJ against villain's 3bet assumed range as above is -EV.
So, we should fold if villain 3bet us with these ranges?
I doubt villain will fold to our 4bet with these ranges. So I think we have no FED.

      Hey JHTAN,

If you give such tight ranges to the villain then of course going broke with AK is a mistake and you should only continue with QQ+.

The thing here is if he is another MSS player than he will 3-bet much wider range(99+/ATs+/AJo+) and against this range you will still have enough FE to profitably shove.

It's up to you to decide his range and see whether it's +EV or -EV to go broke. But without stats/reads I think sticking to the SHC is the best.

      Best regards,
