      UTG+1 bets $3, Hero raises to $7.75, UTG+1 folds

      Hero shows 8:heart: 8:club:

      Hero wins $9.74

Villain was a TAG looking player after a few hands, not much going on between us atm of the hand.

I choose to raise on the flop because I think that in this way I am going to get max value from the hands that can pay me : AA/KK, AQ, 55, A :spade: X :spade: , maybe KQ, and I'm thinking I am only costing myself the value of him potentially hitting an A or a K when he has AK.

Also he can also interpret my raise as a semi-bluff which is quite possible on this flop and in this way I can induce some lighter shoves from him imo.

What's the best option in your opinion?

I like your raise if player doesn´t 2-barrel and would give up on the turn
If player looks more aggro then it is likely he missed that flop and you should wait turn to raise, since he would very often also fire on second barrel with his air
