Really wasn't sure how to play this hand on the flop.

Wanted to defend my blind there, and with another in the hand gives me better odds.

I just checked the flop because I think otherwise it looks a bit too obvious I've hit.

So then I small donked the turn because I was hoping for a raise, rather than just playing c/c.

Should I maybe have checked the river to induce a bluff? Or value bet thinner?

      No stats on villian

      Hello Jim4rdo,

Preflop: Totally doable while you even getting pretty good odds and therefore I do as well rather prefer to Call. Unless I know the opponents better.
Flop: Basically rather donk yourself on flop and try to protect. They are going to pay you anyways if they have a hand and sometimes maybe even with just A high. Plus we need to start build up the pot of course as well. Will be hard to extract value being OOP.

      As played
Turn: I'd even bet it bigger like $0,85 at least.
River: While even a draw completed and he will anyways have hard time Calling with a lot worse than Jx, I guess I would do it like $1,50.

      Best regards.
