I was 3betting villain quite a lot for several sessions and made him fold a lot and he had notes on me.After his 4bet I think he was just trying to adapt so I went for 5bet bluff :f_grin: .However, once he pushed it turned out that I need 25% equity and vs a range of 99+/AQ+ I have 30% so I had unfortunately committed myself. As you can see I got a little lucky :D .So is there a point in 3betting sb who has started to adapt?Should I rather decrease my 3bet frequency or should I make bluff 5bets instead? As we can see with a 5bet I am totally committed so is bluff-shoving the better option?

I don´t like your 5-bet since you´re committing yourself at the same time I think I also don´t like 5-bet shove.
If you want to 3-bet and may afraid 4-bet bluff then call (even though you´re oop) and make moves postflop or call him down if you hit some kind of board, but of course best is just to call pf and play ip

      - I think players would most of the time 4-bet for value, so I really don´t like 5-bet bluffing with 89s, if you want to 3-bet/5-bet I would rather prefer some kind of pp
