thanks for the $50. You had it in my full tilt account within 8hours.

So far with that $50 I have won a seat in the $750k guaranteed as well as a seat in he step 5 , plus a $14 sit n go turned into $45 winning that and....actually, that might be it.

What I would like to know is how rakeback works in sit n goes and tournaments. How much rake do they take and what do they actually rake and how do I get my share back?

      Thanks.

For OP, though this seems like a throw off comment, I would seriously suggest checking out a BankRoll Management article.

For SnGs, a bankroll suggestion is 40 buyins, so you should really be playing in $1 9-man SnGs. Not $14 ones.

      For $2 Sngs, you need:

      40 x $2.20 = $88 - better to go with $100.

Best of luck, but make sure you manage your money wisely or you'll lose it all with AA in a cash game.

      Btw, for cash games:

      $50 - 2NL (1cent/2cent blinds)
      $125 - 5NL (2cent/5cent blinds)

Thanks but not only do I own a Poker Club in Australia, but I also play daily $500-$2000 buying cash games at my local casino.
I know all about bankroll management, was just having a shot at online poker without having to take my bankroll and out it into my visa I use for online transactions.

I also have won over $250,000 in the past four years in live weekly tournaments

I appreciate the advice, but was just trying to have a look at your website and your offer as we have many people at our poker club who have asked about it.

What would you like to know Bamabinladen?

We have alot of partner rooms, some we give a free starting capital to $50 if you pass our beginners quiz, you sound super pro so it shouldnt be a prob ;)

If you decide against our free starting capital then you can pick any of our partner rooms ( http://www.pokerstrategy.com/online-poker-rooms/ ) where we try to offer the best legal deals out there.

As you generate strategy points (rake) you will see your avatar changes, as it changes you start getting more rights. For example if you make it to gold star you will be able to watch more videos on the site. If you reach diamond status then we will invite you to private partys, give you personal VIP skype service and ofc you will be able to "unlock" videos and articles.

We are fundamentally a training school, who look to get beginning players on their feet and give them a community in which they can learn and excel to the best of their potential abilities by offering strategy advice from the top professionals in the game and giving them a chance to speak to like minded people. For yourself I know we have various high stakes cash game players and the more you post and be active on our wonderful forum the more you will interact and learn from and hopefully teach our members.

Thanks, I was really just trying to find out how the member of your site gets a percentage of their rake back.
As mentioned, already done your set and received $50 and thanked you for it.

I am sorry, but I could never find the time to help out in your site due to numerous business I have on the go, however, I am interested in helping in another way buy recommending a website such as yours or similar to yours to those fresh faces that come through our 'Live' poker academy (20+ students per week for eight hours a day, seven days), which is why I have spent the past few weeks going through sites, finding bonuses, training and helpful advice.
So far, I must say what you guys offer here is beyond anything else I have seen, and way beyond anything I could have expected, to be honest, it has so much going on that it is a tad overwhelming. Althugh during the test you have, I found myself reading through your strategies and it is very well set out. Well done on all the hard work that has obviously gone into this place.
Personally, I am not a pro at poker, though many of my friends are and have the names that go with that status, but I am customed to very large swings in both directions, playing cash can have not just bad days, but bad months, very bad months, hence why I try to keep myself busy with business ventures.

I don't know if you guys mention other good sites for backing, but I would suggest you have your guys take a look at chipmeup.com, I personally just purchased 10% of my mates action for $2000 at face value of his five entries to the WSOP totaling $20,000. Considering he came in the top five at bellagio WPT, this is awesome value and there so much else over there. They don't offer anything other than backing, so hopefully it doesn't counter your website, if it does feel free to edit this out.

What I'm try to find out, it is the only thing can't seem to see.... I thht I read somewhere you guys give 25% of the members rake back. When do you give this back to the member andmhow? By depositing it in their poker site account or bank account etc?

On another note..... Here in Australia at our poker room we have a $150 buyin every Tuesday night, a $55 rebuy every Thursday and a fortnightly $1100 buy in and a monthly $2200 buy in, each tourney is capped, 180 for the smaller buy ins and 60 runners for the bigger buy ins.... If your website is interested in getting involved a little more with the Australian main stream, and we like to think we are considering the people who play here, we would be very interested in working something out with your website where you sponsor one of the tournaments. We are currently looking at running freerolls to the larger ones Australian wide on one of the big four poker sites.

Anyway, edit out anything you don't think suitable for this thread if need be.

Your site is brilliant and with the right marketing in Australia I'm certain you would see not only a lot more Australian poker players coming here, but Australia would see a lot more people starting to play poker.

      Very good post^^^

I agree totally with this. Pokerstrategy could get involved in Australian poker so easy. Im sure the casinos wouldn't mind being able save some money and pokerstrategy would love the publicity.

      Hey again Bamabinladen,

Why not add me on skype, patrick.leonard.ps and I can give you some contacts in the company who you can email your thoughts/ideas, as obviously our marketing team doesn't actively follow our beginners questions board.

      Thanks :)

No, no. We are actually a pretty large company, we operate in 19 languages and have over 200 employees in Gibraltar. We have community managers who deal with each community and then different branches for areas such as marketing, pr and customer support.

Our CEO ("Korn") and CSO ("Xantos") do however post on the forum and they both have 5 figure post counts, I think this shows our companies ethics that we are all in this together and really want to make PokerStrategy number 1 for all aspiring poker players.
