Hello all,

I've decided to write here my experience in poker.
I play for some mounths, a few. i started playing homegame, with some friends, then freerolls on some sites, untill i discovered on a blog pokerstrategy. i got my 50$ on mansion poker, and start playing.

At first i was trying to stick to SSS, but lack of discipline made this a bad experience: some wins, some loses, more loses:D my bankroll was down to 20$. Playing still SS i managed to rebuild to 50$, but SSS was not for me...
I really think SSS is for someone with very much patience, but not for me.

about my style... i like to see the flop, i'm not suck a tight player, but i'm trying to bet on the flop only i really think i have the best hand. i take advantage of late position, witch i think it's very important. in EP i fold A9, unless they are suited; i like playing the connectors, and middle and low pair, this ones beeing considereted by me some cash bringers, when you hit a set on the flop.
some other thinks...in last two days i rich 125$, changing but one thing in my game: searching tables with players per flop>35%, and a average pot, for my entering stack size...

I now play on 0.10/0.15 ring tables, buying in with 4 or 5$, and staying there untill i finish the session - even i rich 30$, i dont exit the table, but take more care not losing my hard wining moneys.

I want to post here alomst every day one hand, witch i hope will be analized by the more experienced players. i think one day i post a wining hand, the another day, a losing one.

btw now i have 125$ ,after 2-3 sesions with 20+ winings.

here is one hand i lost today:

Poker Room skin
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.10/$0.15
9 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $14.40
UTG+1: $15.05
MP1: $18.05
MP2: $26.85
MP3: $15.60
CO: $22.75
Button: $17.60
Zeus_XP: $7.75
BB: $11.40

Pre-flop: (9 players) Zeus_XP is SB with K:heart: J:spade:
2 folds, [color:#cc0000]MP1 raises to $0.4, 2 folds, CO calls, Button folds, Zeus_XP calls, BB folds.

Flop: 9:heart: J:club: 8:diamond: ($1.35, 3 players)
[color:#cc0000]Zeus_XP bets $0.5, MP1 calls, CO folds.

Turn: 2:heart: ($2.35, 2 players)
[color:#cc0000]Zeus_XP bets $1, MP1 calls.

River: 5:heart: ($4.35, 2 players)
[color:#cc0000]Zeus_XP bets $1, [color:#cc0000]MP1 raises to $3.5, Zeus_XP calls, Zeus_XP folds.

Results:
Final pot: $11.35
[color:#ffffff]MP1 bet 5.40 collected 10.80 net 5.40 shows Ah Qh

please dont tell me "why do you play KJ"... i know i take some risks, but usually with that cards and with that flop, you win. i am not revolted he won...it's happening all the time...even worst.

tonight i came back at 0.15/0.25 tables... i say back because a month ago i made the mistake to go up in level with only 50$...i find this level more challenging than the 0.10/0.15. it's much harder, but if u play good poker, u win good money. i played one session about 1 h and won 11 $...i guess it's good.

btw my last 6 sessions looks like this:
26 jan : 1h18m : +27.60$ : 200 hands (good one)
26 jan : 0h31m : - 11.45$ : 080 hands (jisaz sometimes i am a fool)
26 jan : 0h39m : - 06.15$ : 071 hands (i think i was going on tilt)
27 jan : 3h08m : +32.45$ : 380 hands (good way to start the day)
27 jan : 4h38m : +51.35$ : 428 hands (wow i was lucky today)

this ones above are at 0.10/0.15 ring tables...
the last sassion i just finished is :

28 jan : 1h03m : +11.05$ : 144 hands
this one is at 0.15/0.25.. it is a nice result regarding is first real session at this level for me... i played before, but that was not poker.

you got it wrong... i am playing at 0.25 since i had 150$ bankroll...now i have 161:P .

if it's something i am worried, it's that i raised that bankroll too quickly... i really dont know if was luck or good play that in less than 10 sessions i tripled that 50$ (thanks PS). but i guess i will soon find out.

Either buy in with the maximum or the minimum amount. Buying in for a weird amount of BB's is the first tell that someone is a fish.
You cant maximize your profit on your monsters , as with BSS.
You cant get good odds to push all in on any flop/preflop , as with SSS.
The point of joining this site is not to get the free 50$ (Its a pathetic amount of money for almost anyone) but to become a better player.

i didnt knew that. Anyway the way I play is the result of the way I used to play. Before joining poker strategy I was playing a lot of tournaments and SnG, where you can't just wait for AA or KK. The way I buy in is the result of playing SSS after joining PS and now i am a little afraid not to lose that big stack:) ... i guess I should buy in with maximum at 0.10/0.15 now; anyway i will reread BSS articles.

That one I've seen... 0.05/0.10, then 0.10/0.25... never 0.10/0.15, never played on mansion though.

That would be NL15, and as sonic mentioned you need a $300 BR to play BSS on that limit.

I don't like this. It can become very exploitable. Stick with TAG play.

About my careear..i have updates. i have a big downswing last 2 days, but now i am back on the track...

i maneged 2 days ago to reach 190$, but then i played horrible, trying SSS at 0.25 tables, and BSS at 0.15. i lost half of that money, but now i'm starting to win again, playing SS at 0.15/0.25 tables, buying in with 4$. i have now like 120 bankroll...i will be back with a solid update.
