Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.1/$0.25 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

      Known players:
      SB (Hero):

Preflop: Hero is SB with A, Q.
3 folds, BU raises to $0.50, Hero raises to $2.50, BB folds, BU calls $2.00.

      Flop: ($5.25) A, K, 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $3.50, BU raises to $8.10, Hero calls $4.60.

      Turn: ($21.45) J (2 players)
      Hero checks, BU checks.

      River: ($21.45) J (2 players)
Hero bets $8.00, BU folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back.

      Final Pot: $21.45.

Villain-unknown.I dont want to get it in on the flop so as not to iso myself against better hands. My plan is to play b/c flop c/r turn. The turn card is bad but should I stick to the c/r or donk out myself?I see a small value bet on the river and I have to call if he shoves over it as I ll be getting 4:1.

I´d just shove on the flop
As you saw he would not continue bluffing after taking one stab and at the same time you would get stacked if he has there better hand
Imo he would raise/fold sometimes and other times has there draw, so you can shove profitable
I think your river bet is fine. if he ever raise with Ax hand, he might fold it and I doubt he would check back flush or two pair on the turn, so you should be still ahead
