      Hello everybody ,

My name is Valy i live in Romania and i`m 26 years old.I played poker the last two years just for recreational purpose. I`ve won a bit here and lost a bit there , mostly played mtt and sng on pokerstars. In December 2010 my grandma died :( and i had to withdraw a very big part of my bankroll . After december i was on a roller coaster and went downhill so i took a brake. On the Romanian community , i`ve started playing staked with some decent results , nothing big but for me every $ counts . Recently i decided to start and learn the basics of cash games .

Because i`m working 8hours/day , i can`t play too many hours .So basically i can play between 3- 6 hours on weekdays and between 6 and 8 hours on weekend.

I`ve started playing 5 day`s ago and unfortunately i managed to play only 18 hours tottaly. So there is a 3 hours average and 3,726 hands (i know the numbers are not great ).

At the beginning i would try to play between 500 > 1000 hands per day in weekdays and about 1500 > 2500 on weekends.

I am open to any advice or criticisms about the content of this blog or about my game .

      I'll start with :

      Platform : Pokerstars
      Game & Limit : NL2 FR
      Strategy : MSS
      Bankroll : 29$

My goals for this month are :

:diamond: Strategy : read all articles about MSS strategy from beginner to silver status

:diamond: Improvements: with your help to identify gaps in my game

:diamond: Total Hands played : 20 k based on an average of 800 hands/day based on 25 days of play

:diamond: BankRoll : at least 50$ so i can move to NL5

Here are my stats on the last 5 days of NL 2 on Pokerstars

Happy First day for my blog :) .

As I said I'll post a graphic at the end of each session . Today i`ve played 600+ hands and ended up 2,70$ in profit . I am happy that I finished the session with a profit, but unfortunately i`m not satisfied with the number of hands played.

I found an interesting hand that i think i didnt played it very well. I`ve managed to take $0,53 but i have some questions about it . At first it seems a very good and easy to play hand , but in this situation my purpose is to take all my oponent money and i didn`t managed to do that.

      1. Is my pre-flop raise bad ?

      2. Another bet on the turn was better instead of checking ?

      3. And on the river is better to check , hoping the opponent will attempt a bluff ?

      Hello everybody ,

I woke up this morning happy that this is the last day of the week and finally comes the weekend so i can play more poker.Unfortunately i have to go to work tomorrow for overtime . But , i waited the day to end and hurry up home so i can play at least 1k hands . I just end up the session and for my surprise it was a very good one

Poker gods are with me this day`s and all i have to say is that i`m very happy :) .So here is today review :

      Hands Played : 1203

      Starting bankroll : 30,35$

      Ending Bankroll : 38,61$

As usual i will post an interesting hand :

      PokerStars - $0.02 NL (9 max) - Holdem - 9 players
      Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

      CO: $1.89
      BTN: $0.97
      SB: $0.91
      BB: $2.00
      UTG: $1.53
      UTG+1: $0.80
      MP: $3.79
      MP+1: $1.21
      Hero (LP): $1.13

SB posts SB $0.01, BB posts BB $0.02

      Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero has A:club: Q:diamond:

fold, fold, fold, MP+1 calls $0.02, Hero raises to $0.10, fold, fold, SB calls $0.09, fold, MP+1 calls $0.08

      Flop: ($0.32, 3 players) 2:diamond: J:heart: 9:club:
SB checks, MP+1 checks, Hero bets $0.16, SB calls $0.16, fold

      Turn: ($0.64, 2 players) 3:heart:
SB checks, Hero bets $0.37, SB calls $0.37

      River: ($1.38, 2 players) 3:spade:
SB bets $0.22, Hero raises to $0.50 and is all-in, fold

      Hero wins $1.74
And now i will try to explain this hand .

The guy in SB had a 74/5/ stats (vpip/pfr) so in my opinion a very loose and fishy player) .

Pre-flop action : the raise was standard in my opinion

Flop action : the CC was also standard but i got a very big info about SB hands. On my CC he snaped called so in my opinion he was on a straight draw.

Turn : the same snap call as on the flop so now I was convinced that he is drawing

River : bang the classic bluff on the river when you miss the draw :)

Notice that the SB left behind only 0,02 $ :) )

And now the session graphic :

This is the full 7 days graphic :

I wish you all a quiet night and good luck at the tables !!
