Although villain shows a lot of strength on the turn, I have some difficulties in finding a fold on such a dry board. Badly played or just bad luck?

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.05/$0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (5 handed)

      Known players:
      BB (Hero):

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, K.
3 folds, SB raises to $0.30, Hero raises to $0.90, SB calls $0.60.

      Flop: ($1.8) 2, 6, 6 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.12, SB calls $1.12.

      Turn: ($4.04) K (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $2.54, SB raises to $6.50, Hero calls $3.96.

      River: ($17.04) 4 (2 players)
SB bets $7.64, Hero calls $6.71.

      Final Pot: $31.39.

      Results follow:

Hero shows two pairs, kings and sixes(Ac Kc).
SB shows three of a kind, sixes(6c 5c).

SB wins with three of a kind, sixes(6c 5c).

      Hello joaoleao,

The problem is that there aren't that many hands which would Check/Raise. Even I am not sure if he a Kx would raise there this way in 3bet pot. You could put him on bluff but is he capable of doing that? Therefore I might even consider making the crying fold on turn.

The problem really is that his range doesn't really include a lot of hands which we beat.

      Best regards.
